Special mention to Françoise and Paul who took all the risks in hosting us two weeks in their beautiful house Novezan which was transformed for the occasion into a wide variety of cables and complex network to rival a retired Edf and of course Fred and immense patience showed in for the making of this album.

I would like to pay hommage to the memory of my friend and mentor Mr Frederick "Shep" Sheppard, one of the greatest musicians that I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. Shep played the king of tenor that one could listen to four hours of end, then be sad when he'd finished, wanting to hear more and more.

Shep passed away the 19th of the January 2007 at the age of 61. I am, like so many others, deply saddened by this death. New Orleans are the word have lost a truly gifted and beautiful soul.
I know he's gone but I still want to hear more and more. Rest in peace, Shep.
